The 7th African Young Geotechnical Engineers’ Conference provides up and coming geotechnical practitioners under the age of 35 an opportunity to write and present at a conference in a constructive environment as well as meeting other young like-minded individuals across the country.
The African Regional Conference (ARC), preceding the AYGE conference, will also initiate dialogue between junior and senior engineers while young geotechnical engineers acquaint themselves with the industry standards, new geotechnical developments and resources available to further their careers.
Geotechnical practitioners under the age of 35 in the mining and civil engineering industry. More experienced geotechnical practitioners are encouraged to motivate the YGE ‘s working under them to attend the conference and explain the advantages of presenting their work at the conference.

Registration for the AYGE does not automatically include registration for the main conference. Should you wish to attend the main conference and social function(s) you need to register for it separately. A discounted rate has been provided to the delegates attending the AYGE who will also attend the ARC.
