1. Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions will apply:*

  • All payments to be made directly to the SAICE Geotechnical Division.
  • Payment is required in full fourteen (14) days from date of invoice.
  • No seats will be reserved.
  • The organising committee reserves the right to change speakers, programme content date and venue, if and when required.
  • The on-line registration form is a legally binding document.


  • All cancellations must be made in writing to info@arc2019.org.
  • On/before Friday 16 August 2019 – R1,000-00
  • On/before Friday 6 September 2019 – 50% refund
  • After Friday 6 September 2019 – no refund


  • There is a R500 per delegate charge for substitutions and must be notified to the Secretariat in writing info@arc2019.org.
  • No shows are liable for full registration fee.

Protection of Personal Information

In registering for the conference, relevant details will be incorporated into a participant list for the benefit of all delegates. Normally this information would be: name, surname, company, country and email address.

These details may also be available to parties directly related to the Conference including the venues and accommodation providers. The details may be used to inform current participants of Conference updates or future conferences via email. Participants are responsible for advising the secretariat if they do not wish to have their email addresses included in the conference participant list or the distribution list for future events.


The Committee and organisers will do everything possible to ensure that your attendance at the Conference will be as comfortable as possible. The Conference, any member or members of its committee and its appointed agents or sub-contractors, act on the basis that they attend to the arrangements of the Conference for the convenience of the Conference delegates. They perform all tasks on condition that the Conference, any member or members of its committee and its appointed agents or other sub-contractors cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss, personal injury, damage or inconvenience (however arising) experienced by delegates of the Conference; neither can they be held responsible or liable for unforeseen partial or total cancellation of the event for which no refunds can be guaranteed. The programme is subject to change without notice.

By forwarding the Registration Form I agree to the clauses in the Registration Form and I have noted and accepted the terms and conditions above.

2. Content

The author reserves the right not to be responsible for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims regarding damage caused by the use of any information provided, including any kind of information which is incomplete or incorrect, will therefore be rejected.

Offenders sending unwanted spam messages will be punished.
